Meet Our Ministers

Minister Danielle Madison

My name is Danielle Madison.  I was born and raised in Calvert County, Maryland.  I now reside in St. Mary’s County, Maryland.  I graduated from Patuxent High School.  I have worked several jobs since I was old enough to start working, including working for Department of Juvenile Services (DJS) where I often talked to my clients about the Lord.  I currently work for ICI as a contractor.

My greatest blessing is my children and my relationship with the Lord.  I have a heart for people and helping in whatever capacity I can.  I was so humbled when my Pastor told me that God called me into ministry.  My response (while trembling) was “send me Lord…I will go.”  So, I thank God for calling me and I look forward to running on and seeing what the end will be.  Amen!

My name is Diann Thompson.  I was born in St. Mary’s County, MD.  Graduated from Great Mills High School, attended Bowie State College, and currently attending Andersonville Theological Seminary in the master’s degree program.  I retired from St. Mary’s County Public Library System in 2016.  I have a Prayer Shawl ministry.  I am a partner with Habits of the Heart, LLC.

I am a widow with an amazing son from our union.  I made and offered masks for those in need during the early stage of Covid-19 and donated 200 to the Charlotte Hall Veterans Hospital.  I also help prepare dinner every Wednesday evening for Bay District Volunteer Fire Department Company 9.

I have 2 brothers and 1 sister still living.  My go to scripture is:  Psalms 8 and the book of James.  I am a breast cancer survivor, and my testimony is “God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think” (Eph 3:20).

Youth Minister
Angelica Madison

My name is Angelica Madison.  I was born in and currently live in St. Mary’s County, Maryland.  I am a proud Kidpreneur of "Angel's Heavenly Handiwork" with my mom, and a STEM student.

I am a Youth Minister, a Lay Speaker, and Offertory Steward.  I was overwhelmed when God called me.  I have witnessed how God has changed and continues to change my mom.  And I absolutely love how He continues to change me too.  All I want to do is serve God with all my might and strength.  I don’t want to disappoint Him or my Mommy.  Pray for me as I pray for you.  Amen!

Minister Shawn Dyson

My name is Shawn Dyson.  I was born in St. Mary’s County, MD, graduated from Great Mills High School (Class ’93!) and have held many positions in my life from serving in the US Air Force, unarmed security officer, fast-food manager, Public Safety Officer, and car salesman.  I currently own and operate HAM Print, Inc., a print shop located in Hollywood, MD.  I am pursuing my associate’s degree in Biblical Exposition at Andersonville Seminary School.

I was blessed to hear the call from the Lord to serve my purpose on August 1, 2021, when me, my wife (Lay Speaker Christina Dyson), and my children (Jasmine Ellerbe, Christian Ellerbe) joined Christ “Together As One” Christian Church and Ministries Center.  Shortly after joining, I accepted the Discipleship Program offered by Bishop Clinton to further my learning and became a minister.  I currently teach the Y.A.C.H.T. C.L.U.B. (Young Adults Choosing His Teaching/Carefully Learning Under the Bible).  My hope is that I have served God well in my purpose and show ALL who BELIEVE that GOD IS REAL!  Amen

Minister Alfonso Sawyer

My name is Alfonso Edward Sawyer Jr., and I'm originally from the DMV area (Alexandria). Moreover, I moved around a lot because my family was a military family. I was not raised in the church, however, I have always been around others who attended church. In February 2010 in Victorville, CA my family and I rededicated our lives back to God. After serving in several auxiliaries and ministries, I discovered that God had a calling on my life, and a purpose for my life. On 1 January 2020, my mother (Vanessa Muskelly Sawyer) was called home to be with the LORD. My mother’s service was the very first time I stepped behind the pulpit and allowed God to use me and have his way with me. That was the very first time, I felt God’s overwhelming love, grace, mercy and presence. Since that day, I've been purposefully been going hard to serve God and his people, wholeheartedly and intentionally!

God has been so good to me despite all of my sins, indiscretions, and shortcomings. I know I don't deserve anything that I have, where I am, what I'm doing, and even being alive. I know God treats me far better than I deserve. That is why I am unapologetic about serving the Most High God. That is why I trust HIM with my whole heart, because I know He knows what’s best for me. The more I've grown in The Most High is the reason I've been married over 25 years, and I can be the husband, father, leader, citizen, and role model that God created me to be!
